What a credit is, and which seat fits.
What is a credit?
A count of the work the model does on your matter. Twenty pages read is one credit; a research memo is 35; a drafting workflow is 100. Solon is never counted.
What is a page?
One page of a document you upload or email into the matter. A 400-page deposition is 20 credits.
Does research without documents use credits?
Yes, 35 per memo. Decomposing the question and writing the memo use the model even though Solon does the citing.
Can I see the cost before a run?
Every run shows its credit count before it starts.
What happens when I run out?
The run stops and asks. Approve the overage at ten cents a credit on your card, or decline. Nothing spends itself.
Is the seat per attorney or per firm?
Per attorney. There are two seats: $350 a month with 2,500 credits, and $500 a month with 7,500 credits. Everything else about them is the same.
Which seat do I need?
Count the pages you read and the memos and drafts you run in a month: twenty pages is one credit, a research memo is 35, a drafting workflow is 100. If the total sits under 2,500, the attorney seat covers it. If you read whole productions, the heavy reader seat carries 7,500.
What does a motion cost?
Nothing separately. Motions consume credits like everything else.

Can we bring documents in from Google Drive, Dropbox or NetDocuments?
Yes. Connect Google Drive or Dropbox and bring a matter’s documents in from the folders you already use. NetDocuments is in Early access for firms that keep matters in a document management system; access is scoped to what you select and your existing permissions are respected. Documents can also be uploaded or emailed into the matter.
